Day 1

Flight to New York City. Enjoy stunning views of Central Park & Manhattan Midtown from the observation deck at the “Top of the Rock” at Rockefeller Center. Arrive at Sheraton New York Hotel, Manhattan for a 4-night stay near Broadway. Dinner in New York City.

Day 2

Breakfast. Guided tour of New York City: Central Park, Fifth Avenue, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Broadway Theater District, Times Square, Ground Zero, Lower Manhattan, Wall Street, Chinatown & more. Enjoy “Broadway Classroom” — a unique workshop that will enhance your Broadway experience. A cast member and musician who are part of the Broadway Production you will be seeing that evening will teach the choreography, staging and music. Dinner at Carmines in New York City. Evening Theater Production TBA.

Day 3 

Breakfast. Discover the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum at Pier 86 in New York City. Highlights include the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, the Space Shuttle Pavilion, Submarine Growler, and British Airways Concorde. Evening Broadway Theater Production TBA.

Day 4

Breakfast. Ferry to Ellis Island where more than 12 million immigrants entered the United States from 1892 to 1924. Explore the Ellis Island Immigration Museum which gives voice to the immigrants themselves. Visit Liberty Island to view the Statue of Liberty. Dinner at Hurley’s. Broadway Theater Production TBA.

Day 5

Breakfast. Visit National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Flight home.

American Classic Tours is based out of Chicago. Because many of our travelers are from the greater Chicagoland Area, all of our tours begin at one of Chicago’s airports. If you are from out of state or country, you can join us via a “land-only” tour package. A “land-only” tour is the exact same as our “all-inclusive” tour except it does not include airfare. Your tour director will meet you at your destination and lead you to meet the rest of the group on the first day of the tour.
