American Classic Tours always stays at quality hotels that are clean, comfortable and close to local attractions. 

Luggage Assistance

Luggage handling at the hotels is provided as part of your tour. This service is limited to one piece of standard-sized luggage per person. American Classic Tours luggage tags will be included in your final documents and should be attached to your piece of luggage to receive this assistance.


'Casual wear' is strongly recommended on our tours.  If there is a dress code required for any destination, we will advise you of this in the trip documents you receive before the trip departs. With frequent moves from inside the motorcoach to outside, layered clothing is very helpful. You may also want to bring a warm coat/jacket and rain gear “just in case”.


All airline carriers now require your full name, as stated on your identification (drivers license or passport) and your birthdate.  When you fill out your reservation form, please make sure you list your full name and birthdate (for both travelers if husband and wife). 

Seat assignments on airline flights are at the discretion of the airline. Please let us know when you sign up if you would like to make a seat request.  Every attempt is made to honor a seat request. Any requests for bulkhead and exit row seats can only be made at check-in at the airport on the day you depart.


  • You will receive a trip letter about 5 weeks prior to the day of departure.  Your departure and return times, pick up location, and information pertaining to the trip will be included.  You will also receive a luggage tag and a hotel list to leave with a family member.
  • Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. 
  • This tour is operated by American Classic Tours, Inc. (“ACT”), acting only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide room accommodations, transportation, sightseeing attractions, activity, admissions, entertainment, meals and other services for our participants.
  • Neither ACT nor its employees or agents are responsible for any losses of or damages to personal property, or for injuries, expenses or damages incurred by any tour participant. ACT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to make changes in the tour itineraries.
