Day 1

Flight to Seattle-Tacoma Airport. Arrive at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Seattle for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 2

Breakfast. Guided tour of Seattle. Explore famous Pike Place Market. See the dramatic Seattle skyline as we travel to the top of Seattle’s Space Needle. Marvel at the beauty of Chihuly’s world-famous blown glass as we visit Chihuly’s Garden and Glass in downtown Seattle. Enjoy a delicious dinner at Blue Acre Seafood Restaurant in downtown Seattle.

Day 3

Breakfast. See lush pine forests as we travel through the Evergreen State of Washington. Discover Mt. St. Helens from Johnston Ridge Observatory to view the stunning results of the 1980 eruption. Arrive at the Marriott Hotel Portland, Oregon for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast. Guided tour of the Columbia River Gorge with cascading waterfalls, dramatic basaltic cliffs, dense forests, the Columbia River & Cascade Mountains. Guided tour of Portland including its famous Rose Garden.

Day 5

Breakfast. Discover the Oregon Coast via Highway 101 along the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy views of sea lions, rock cliffs, the blue Pacific, Newport’s old harbor and picture stops along the way. Explore the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area on a dune buggy tour. Arrive at the Best Western Coos Bay, Oregon for a 1-night stay. Dinner.

Day 6

Breakfast. Embark on a jet boat tour & see the wonders of the Rogue River. Take the Newton B Drury Scenic Highway to see the Big Tree in the Redwoods National Forest home to the world’s tallest trees with stop at the Visitors Center. Arrive at Bear River Casino Resort located in Loleta CA for a 1-night stay. Dinner.

Day 7

Breakfast. Travel along the world-famous Avenue of the Giants of colossal redwoods. See Founders Grove in Humboldt State Park. Tour and wine tasting at Jacuzzi Winery in Sonoma Valley wine country. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Arrive at San Francisco’s Marriott Union Square for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 8

Breakfast. Guided tour of San Francisco featuring downtown, Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, Nob Hill, Lombard Street, Seal Rocks and more. Blue & Gold Fleet Cruise of San Francisco Bay.

Day 9

Breakfast. Flight home.

American Classic Tours is based out of Chicago. Because many of our travelers are from the greater Chicagoland Area, all of our tours begin at one of Chicago’s airports. If you are from out of state or country, you can join us via a “land-only” tour package. A “land-only” tour is the exact same as our “all-inclusive” tour except it does not include airfare. Your tour director will meet you at your destination and lead you to meet the rest of the group on the first day of the tour.
